MRS. TAMI (Director)

Mrs. Tami, originally from Colorado, developed an early love for teaching young children and embarked on her career in early childhood education at the age of 16. Her extensive knowledge in behavior science and reading minor has consistently encouraged positive behavior in young children, nurtured early literacy abilities, established positive partnerships with families, and fostered a constructive and stimulating learning atmosphere. Mrs. Tami acquired director-qualification in 1987 and has been committed and dedicated to children for over four decades.

MRS. CHAN (Assistant Director)

Mrs. Chan was born in South Korea, then moved to El Salvador, followed by the United States. She is happy to call Colorado her home and looks forward to the many great opportunities and experiences Colorado offers. In January 2020, she joined the team at Active Learners. Equipped with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Educational Ministry, Mrs. Chan has qualified as a director through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood. Mrs. Chan loves how creative, fun, and silly the children are. She loves teaching them but also loves learning from them.

MRS. MARTHA (Infant/Toddler Supervisor)

Mrs. Martha was born in Mexico and then moved to Colorado. She has been with Active Learners Academy since September 2003. She is EQIT (The Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care) certified and an infant/toddler supervisor qualified through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood. Mrs. Martha loves working with innocent children because she enjoys their company and children give her ideas to do creative activities with them.

MRS. BERENICE (Infant/Toddler Supervisor)

 

Mrs. Berenice has been employed with Active Learners Academy since August 2002. She is both EQIT (The Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care) and Pyramid Plus Approach certified. Mrs. Berenice brings over 20 years of expertise to the role of supervisor.
